This study aims to determine the effect of several combinations of weaning media on the growth of gaharu plants (Aquilaria beccariana van Tiegh.). From this research is expected to contribute in the development of cultivation and preservation of gaharu ready to plant in the field. The research was conducted at Seed House, Faculty of Forestry, University of Lambung Mangkurat from April to September 2017. The study used Completely Randomized Design (RAL) with 4 (four) treatments and repeated 5 times, so that the total of all observation units were 20 seeds. The treatment in this research is GO (pure soil / top soil 100%); G1 (peat 25% + pure soil 75%); G2 (peat 50% + pure soil 50%); G3 (peat 75% + pure soil 25%). Based on the most appropriate weaning experiment, the effect of gaharu plant stem diameter is the use of 25% peat soil media combination and 75% soil / top soil. The use of weaning media related to the high growth value of gaharu plants is not recommended based on this experiment, because the best of treatment result.
