The lack of knowledge about K3 and ergonomics to be one factor in the accident. Percentage of workers working crash on lifting affect lower back pain for >60%, 20% occur in the type of work pushing or pulling items and 20% due to carry goods. Workers who lift heavy weights will have the possibility of back injury 8 times that of workers who are not just lifting things constantly. Research objectives: determine the effect of lifting and carrying techniques to the workload on the market porters in Harum Manis Market Banjarmasin. The method: uses quasi-experimental research design with one group pre test and post test. The observation is done twice before and after the experiment. Number of subjects 30 men with age range of 30?40 years. Research instrument using a questionnaire containing 18 questions. The first phase begins by giving a briefing on the purpose of research, fill out the consent form and the questionnaire. The second phase of treatment is given in the form of ergonomic lifting techniques training. The last stage, researchers gave questionnaires enclosed. Results: The number of respondents's knowledge scores increased from 320 to 384 after have this training. Results of statistical tests of pre-test and post-test using paired t-test mean? 2.633 and SD= 2.205. Differences with paired t-test p-value produced in the column Sig. (2-tailed)= 0.000 (p< 0.05), meaning that there are differences in knowledge before and after training. This shows the effect of training on the knowledge of respondents. Conclusion: The provision of training in lifting and transport workers increase knowledge of lifting and carrying techniques correctly and in accordance with ergonomics. |
