dc.description One of the fauna affected by changes in galam forest, peat forest, and rice fields (all three including wetlands) is amphibians. Amphibians have not been used as teaching materials that are packaged in their own learning devices. This preliminary study aimed to record amphibian species in Gambut District. Data was collected using the Visual Encounter Survey (VES) method. The estimated location of amphibians was visited. The data recorded was the name of the amphibian species and the number of individuals. Six species belong to three families and one order, namely Anura (without tail) were found. Duttaphrynus melanostictus (kodok/puru buduk), Hylarana erythraea (kongkang gading) and Hylarana nicobariensis (kongkang jangkrik) are most commonly found. Fewer species found are Fejervarya cancrivora, Ingerophrynus biporcatus (puru hutan), and Ingerophrynus parvus (puru kerdil).
