dc.description This study aims to determine the effect of wulung bamboo species position in the middle, base and end of the stick type of chemical properties are located in mountainous areas. Observation of bamboo in the chemical properties of the base, middle and late Rod includes soluble mineral content in hot water soluble mineral substance in cold water, benzene levels-soluble mineral holoselulosa levels, levels of Alpha Cellulose and lignin content. Average soluble mineral content in hot water, cold water and alcohol largest benzene in the stem base number 6.707, 4.950 and 3.473, smallest fibres found on the tip of the rod string 5.627, 3.310 and 2.740%. While the average level holoselulosa, alpha cellulose and lignin of the largest in the base of the stem of each position at 75.903%, 47.283% and 25.407%, and the smallest was in the position of the stem tip to the average level and alpha cellulose holoselulosa row of 74.623% and 45.813%
