dc.description Education is a shared responsibility between families, schools and communities, parents are the first and foremost educators in educating and guiding their children, so as to develop optimally. In addition, parents are also responsible for educating their children and sets a great example in our daily lives, resulting in a child’s morality is expected to grow and develop into a child who has a character that is reliable and useful for the country. An attitude of respect and courtesy is one of the pillars of character that must be owned by the child, because the child’s respect and manners appreciated and liked existence as social beings. The key for children based on the attitude and behavior of example given by parents. Activities that can be given to younger children in the family, among others through habituation conducted every day both in respect for the elderly, speak good words and said nothing rude and behave rude. Things to consider the family in educating their children, among others: do not reproach her, do not make fun of children, to instill the values of honesty, giving attitude of understanding, and instilling values of justice to children.
