The assessment formulation microbe of oxidizing pyrite on acid sulphate soil was a part of bioleaching research. Before conducting bioleching, preliminary assessment was conducted to determine the ability of its fprmulation. The assessment was conducted in greenhouse of Balittra Banjarbaru under acid sulphate soil + two kind carrier material (rice straw powder and rice husk-derived biochar and three dosage carrier material (10, 20, and 30 to ha-1) and control. Block ranzomized design with three replication was used in this assessment. Acid sulphate soils were collected from Experimental Station of Belandean. All treatments were not able to accelerate the process of oxidation of pyrite.
