dc.description Plantain banana has been shown to posses ulcer healing activity. The present work was to investigated the toxicty effect of Mauli Banana stem extracts and compare the effect of these various extracts against acute oral ulcers. To inestigated the toxicity effect, MTT method was used. In other hand, to investigated the anti-ulcers activity, wound size and percent wound contraction was analysed. The result of this study shows that Mauli banana stem does not have toxicity effect on 25% concentration. Clinically, this extract also has effect for healing wound rapidly. It can be concluded that the extract of Mauli bananas stem is potentially used as agent of topical drug for healing wound in oral cavity.
