ULIN (Eusideroxylon zwageri T. & B.) GROWTH RATE UNDER THE RUBBER PLANT Suyanto, Suyanto; Nugroho, Yusanto; Susilawati, Susilawati; Pasah, Maysan There is no information about the growth rate of Ulin plants in 2010 under rubber plants under edaphic and climatic conditions that were not studied first. The growth rate of Ulin needs to be evaluated whether it is growing well or not, so this research was carried out. This research aims to analyze the growth rate of Ulin under Rubber plants in Telagalangsat Village, South Kalimantan Province. It is hoped that the results of this research can be used to apply ex-situ Ulin conservation silviculture techniques. This research was carried out on rubber plants with different canopy densities at the upper site and the lower site. The results of the analysis show: (1) Ulin growing under rubber plants is able to grow quite well in terms of the largest height growth in block A1B3 (upper site location with dense cover) is 0.48 m/year and the average is 0.42 m /year. The greatest diameter growth rate was 0.54 cm/year in block A1B3 and the average was 0.47 cm/year. However, from the aspect of survival percentage, the average is in the low category, namely 40.48% with the highest survival percentage being more than 51% in treatments A1B2 and A1B3 (upper site with medium and dense cover). (2) Edaphic and climatic factors greatly influence plant growth, especially light intensity factors and site factors. The upper tread provides a better percent life value compared to the lower tread. Each treatment in areas of medium cover was slightly better than dense cover and very different to sparse cover.

Development of Flashcard Learning Media to Improve Students' Vocabulary Mastery in VIth Grade English Subjects at SDN-SN Pasar Lama 3 Banjarmasin Utama, Agus Hadi; Silaban, Marini Fazrina The purpose of this research is developing Flashcard learning media to improve students' vocabulary mastery in English subjects. The type of research used is R&D (Research and Development) with a 4D development model namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. Data collection techniques include observation, documentation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The results of the feasibility validation from media experts obtained a score of 99.2%, material experts 95.33%, and student responses 98.06% indicating that Flashcard is included in the very feasible category. The results of students' vocabulary mastery obtained an average pre-test score of 60.5 increasing to 86.3 at the time of the post-test with paired sample t-test scores showing that t-count>t-table, namely 11.682>2.045 and Sig. (2 tailed) = 0.000<0.05 which means there is a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test results. Thus, Flashcard learning media is very feasible to use and can improve students' vocabulary mastery in English subjects.
