Abstract:
Research on m-commerce with entrepreneurial
spirit continues to develop but is limited to one country and/or
one field. From a bibliometric perspective, this study aims to
visually study mapping and research trends in the field of m-
commerce on an international scale. This study used
bibliometric techniques with secondary data from Scopus.
Analyze and visualize data using the VOSViewer program and
the analyze search results function on Scopus. This study
analyzed 3,770 scientific documents published from 1996 to
2020. According to research, the Beijing University of Posts
and Telecommunications and Upkar Varshney has the most
active institutions and individual scientists in m-commerce
research. Computer science and Lecture Notes in Computer
Science were the most widely subject area and publication
disseminated of m-commerce. There were nine categories of
maps of collaborative researchers from around the world.
Based on the identification of a collection of knowledge
accumulated from over twenty-four years of publication, this
research proposes a grouping of m-commerce research themes:
Telecommunication, Application of commerce, Social
networking, Sales, Electronic commerce, Technology,
Smartphones, abbreviated as TASSETS research themes.
